4. Scope

POOKA defines an architectural style for organizing information intended for collaboration between humans and AI.

The architecture focuses on the explicit organization of meaning, context, governance and behavior. It defines a conceptual model that can be implemented using different technologies, storage mechanisms and AI systems.

POOKA intentionally does not prescribe:

  • programming languages;
  • software architectures;
  • database technologies;
  • file formats;
  • AI models;
  • implementation frameworks;
  • user interfaces.

Likewise, POOKA does not attempt to replace existing architectural disciplines such as Enterprise Architecture, Information Architecture, Knowledge Management or Identity & Access Management. Instead, it provides an architectural perspective specifically focused on sustainable Human–AI collaboration.

Any implementation that preserves the conceptual model while using different technical solutions may still conform to POOKA.
